Snowy Days

We had a great stretch of snowy days the week before Christmas. It snowed for about nine days without stopping, adding up to about four feet of snow at our house. We all had a great time. Elliott loved looking out his window every morning at the snow. Dutch played outside for hours. Jesse and I went cross-country skiing. Lucy? Well, Lucy was likely oblivious but she was still her happy self.

On the first day of snow, Elliott helped shovel.

I am impressed by his shoveling skills. It must be that Western New York blood in his veins.

Happy shoveler.

Lucy helped Uncle Teddy work when we visited the shop one day.

We came home that evening to an additional foot of snow.

Elliott for scale.

Elliott and Dutch playing in the snow. Listen for the "look at me!" It's very cute.

Elliott lines his snack table chairs up like a train. He is the caboose.

Lucy found herself in the mirror! 12/12/13.

I made this star to hang above our garage. Jesse surprised me with these awesome icicle lights. I love looking out the window or driving up to the house to this view. He put these up in frigid temps and driving snow. Thank you, husband!

I made this felt Christmas tree for Elliott.

Out for a ski with Tim and Laura.

At Emery Park.

Loving some tummy time. Don't worry, she is closely watched when on her belly on the changing table.
