On June 26th, Ted and Jen welcomed their beautiful twin boys. They are already six weeks old but I figured this was better late than never. We went down the next morning to visit the new family. Jen and the boys were doing very well. I am holding Reid Alexander Constantine and Jesse is holding William Woodward Constantine.
Two babies!
Look at these sleeping beauties!
A few from late June. Lucy took to crawling around with the handle of a puzzle piece in her mouth. Quite entertaining.
Smiley girl after clearing her dinner tray.
Summertime means walks in the wagon (only when Daddy is home - I'm not up for two kids, a dog, and a wagon on our busy road).
How to tire out a toddler.
Donut date with Daddy. Note the bandage on Elliott's left arm. While we were camping, he tripped into the fire pit outside our cabin. We had not used that fire pit and did not realize that the previous campers had not properly extinguished the fire. There were still hot coals over 24 hours later. Elliott ended up with second degree burns on his forearm. We had many first aid kits in our group but were lacking the right combination of supplies. Fortunately we found a paramedic and a nurse at the next campsite over. Everything has healed beautifully and it doesn't look like it will scar.
Lucy had her nine month check up. She was a great patient and had all the medical staff smiling.
The Donlans and the Smiths came over for dinner to celebrate Danielle's birthday. Leigh posted some pictures on her great blog. Here are a few from that night. I have more on my big camera but I cannot find the transfer cord so those pictures are being held hostage. Elliott + Colton = big, loud mess but lots of fun!
We had a fire in our woods after dinner.
Big boy in a little sink!
Deep conversations with Tim while hiking at Hunter's Creek.
We went to Rob and Paige's wedding at the end of June. It was a great wedding made even better by the location. We got married at the same spot!
Oh, husband. You're so funny!
