This was such a wonderful weekend that multiple posts are warrented. Jesse came home on Thursday afternoon, just in time for a weekend full of festivities. But, before the action started, we spent a rare quiet day at home as a family.
Some of you may wonder why there haven't been pictures of Elliott in the bath bucket recently. He has outgrown his bucket! He loves standing up now and I worry that he would not stay safely contained in the bucket. So, he now showers with us. I put him on the floor of the shower with some toys while I shower. He plays with the toys for a few seconds before he notices the drain and heads for that, therefore moving himself directly under the stream of water. Easy cleaning! I was able to get some cute shots of Elliott in the shower on Friday.

Hi Mama!
And why does Elliott need to shower??? Because food gets EVERYWHERE when he eats! Routinely all over his face and stuck in his eyebrows but tonight I had the pleasure of cleaning carrots out of his ear!
It is warm regularly now so Jesse put the screen in our front door. Elliott was eager to help out.
