Coco and Poppy came over for dinner the night they returned from Europe. Elliott was lucky enough to receive one of their airline comfort kits including this eyemask.
Coco and Poppy had flown in that day from London and were appropriately exhausted (and frustrated by one missing piece of luggage). We welcomed them home with a quiet dinner. Joke!
It seems Lucy has found her voice and it is quite impressive!
Then she started making these hilarious faces (they start at 8 seconds in).
Climbing onto the snack table became a more regular occurrence.
Relaxing at Wegmans in Poppy's hat.
We met two of my former coworkers at Canalside for kid fun. We were there in time for a great "Exercise like the animals" class. The instructor, a law school classmate of one of the mom's I was with, leads the kids through the alphabet with one animal for each letter. Then he has a fun exercise to mimic that animal's movement. Pretty cool! It started with just our little group.
And then a summer camp joined in.
Cobra, perhaps?
Lots of kids running around . . . all fun and games until the inevitable head bonk. Elliott is in the blue striped shirt.
Can't leave without a stop for more Connect 4.
Tired boy in his new palace guard PJs from Coco and Poppy.
Last but not least . . . Daddy came home! This was a six week trip but was followed by six awesome weeks of family time. We were all thrilled to have him home!
